Hey Jess,

You and I know each other in a different realm and I just want to say thank you for sharing your birth story. I too had an emergency c section and know the mixed feelings that come with it but also share the pure joy that comes from just holding that much wanted baby in your arms. You are and have been an inspiration to me.

Hi Jess, where are you living? I am in exactly the same position as you were and am 38.4 weeks, I still can not find anyone that will support me to have a natural Birth! I am on the Gold Coast.

Hi Jess, As I read your story I am 38+3 weeks pregnant with my first baby- who is breech also. Like you, I have decided to try and birth naturally and I have an extremely supportive OB, husband and family. Over the last hour or so of my last minute research I have started to get slightly painful contractions. I think its too early to get excited but like you, I'm scared to move in case they disappear! Thank you for inspiring me to trust my body and hopefully have an amazing natural birth experience. Marnie

A really wonderful story, Jess - like so many other mothers I just assumed that breech position = caesarean. Thanks for sharing this and assuring us that even a "medically difficult" birth can be safe if it's natural!
