Thanks for sharing your story. I am not much taller than you and my last baby was 4.455kgs at 37 weeks! Out of my 3 children she was the largest (only by300g) and was the easiest to birth! I only had a small tear with her, no stitches, I breathed her out and she came really fast. I don't think it matters how tall you are, how big (or small) your build, women of all shapes can birth babies of all sizes. I have known tiny 5 ft women who barley weight 55kgs who birth 10 pounders over and over. Birth is what our bodies were made for! Women just need to trust in their bodies, trust in their babies and trust in the birth process. Education is key. A great midwife, a great support team (even a doula) is vital. Birth is natural, and it doesn't have to be a horrible painful experience, it can be beautiful, empowering and magical. xx

Your story has given me some hope of a VBAC. My son weighed in at 4.2kg so the dr is telling me i am 80% likely to have another c-section. You have inspired me!
